B. About Your Role
We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Associate – Tax to join our esteemed tax team. In this role, you will provide critical support to our U.S.-based financial operations, contributing to tax compliance and the delivery of accurate and timely reporting.

C. Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review U.S. federal and state tax returns (1065, 1120S, 1120) for general contractors, subcontractors, and developers.
• Perform multi-state apportionment analysis and nexus determination for construction entities operating across jurisdictions.
• Analyze percentage-of-completion (POC) and completed-contract methods for accurate tax treatment.
• Handle depreciation schedules and Section 179/bonus depreciation related to heavy equipment and fixed assets.
• Assist in preparation of K-1s, tax basis calculations, and reconciliation of book-to-tax differences for construction clients.
• Communicate with U.S. engagement teams to resolve open items and clarify construction-specific tax positions (e.g., look-back calculations).
• Perform research on construction tax topics, including IRC §460, §199A, and contractor-specific tax credits or deductions.
D. Required Qualifications & Experience
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
· CPA, EA, or pursuing is a plus.
Experience:
· 1–3 years of experience in U.S. tax preparation (construction or real estate clients preferred).
· Ability to interpret U.S. tax laws as applied to contractors.
Essential Technical Skills:
· Strong understanding of construction entity structures: LLCs, S-corps, and partnerships.
· Familiarity with GoSystem Tax RS or CCH Axcess
· Solid understanding and proven practical application of US GAAP accounting standards and methodologies.
· Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
· Exceptional proficiency in written and verbal English communication, enabling clear and effective collaboration with U.S.-based teams and stakeholders.
· Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and adhere strictly to deadlines.
